Michael Chamberlain OBE

Michael Chamberlain

Chairman of the Council of the Corporation of Church House

Michael Chamberlain has taken on the chairmanship of the Council as of November 2008. He is a former senior partner of KPMG, the international firm of chartered accountants. He was chairman of the Leicester Diocesan Board of Finance for 15 years and subsequently a member of the Archbishops' Council and chairman of its finance committee. He is also a Canon of Leicester Cathedral.

David Barnett

David Barnett

Treasurer of the Corporation

David Barnett was appointed Treasurer of the Corporation of the Church House in 2008. He is a Trustee of IndependentAge, AbilityNet, Lymphoma Association, City of London Endowment Trust for St Paul's Cathedral, and a Governor of Reed's School. He is Chairman of the Trustees of The JPMorgan Cazenove Pension Scheme, and a Liveryman and Member of the Investment Committee of The Goldsmiths' Company. He was previously a Partner of Cazenove from 1972 to his retirement in 2001, including being Finance Partner from 1979 to 2001.

Colin Menzies

Colin Menzies

Secretary of the Corporation

Colin Menzies was appointed Secretary of the Corporation of Church House in 1990. The Secretary's position at the Corporation is responsible for the overall daily administration of the Corporation of Church House. Previously with Christian Salvesen plc and RICS Edinburgh, Mr Menzies was educated at Keble College Oxford.

Adrian Smith

Adrain Smith

Head of Finance

After commencing his career working for a practice of Chartered Accountants, Adrian moved into the not-for-profit sector joining Mid Sussex Housing Association in 1992 and was appointed to the role of Finance Manager in 1995. After enjoying six and a half years as Head of Finance at the British Society for Immunology, Adrian joined the National Foundation for Youth Music as Financial Controller and was appointed as Head of Finance at the Corporation of Church House in November 2009.
